All I want for Christmas…

Are you in full panic buying mode or did you have everything wrapped up ages ago (see what I did there)? Whilst looking for bits and pieces for other people, the inevitable happened and I started doing a little browsing for me. So here’s my list.

1. There are so many fancy iPad covers out there, but this Diane Von Furstenberg one is right up my street – a great graphic print but not too ‘in yer face’.

2. I’d probably buy a book a day if I could and this one has been on my wishlist for a while. The African Majesty explores the history and the traditional techniques used to create the beautiful and vibrant textiles from the Ashanti and Ewe tribes in Ghana. This will have a place in my collection one day!

3. My sewing machine is creeping into retirement so I’d really really like a new shiny whiz bang bells and whistles one. Not necessarily this John Lewis jobbie, but I love that it’s purple!

4. This ‘Scope’ rug from SCP’s 2011 collection would look great in my home. The colour combo and the strong shapes are really working for me. It also reminds me of the art deco period (which I expressed my love for here) so it gets double points for that.

5. I talked about my sideboard obsession in a previous post and the ‘Circa’ sideboard from dwell has seized the number one spot in my heart because it has the mid-century modern styling that I can’t get enough of.

So, if you have a few spare pennies rattling around your purse/wallet, how about picking me up one (or you know all) of these…

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!
