Calling the past…

Who doesn’t love a phone? I mean where would we be without them? Practical and functional yes yes fine, but why not inject a bit of style into your communications piece and have a bit of fun with it?

As you know, when it comes to design style my personal ‘likes’ are stuck firmly in the past so I’ve chosen some of my favourite phones from years gone by to give you some food for thought…

Absolutely digging the colour!

This replica Trimphone telephone is based on the 1960s iconic original. Needless to say, the originals were never produced in such funky colours.

The classic ‘Rotary Dial Telephone

Straight out of the 1970s, the rotary dial telephone takes me right back to my childhood. I remember the size (and weight!) of the clunky receiver.

I could look at this all day long *sigh*

This reproduction is a faithful replica of the 1930s beauties that once graced the homes of the ‘well to do’.

I will certainly own one of these soon – my absolute favourite retro phone.

Your own piece of history

After a real museum piece? This replica looks just like the first phones seen around the turn of the century.

As a child when I saw these used in films and on TV I thought they were so elegant and really wanted to use one – now I can!

Apart from looking very good, all these great phones are compatible with all our new fangled modern plugs and switches and can be used in your home with no problems. I know…. you’re welcome.
