Outdoor living

I hate to be *that* British person, but I’m about to talk about the weather – but bear with me.

This weekend, my part of the world was bathed in glorious sunshine – for the ENTIRE weekend!! Yeh, I know, shocking. The kind of weather that has you finding something to do outside just because you don’t want to be inside and miss it all (you know, just in case it’s all we get).

So I finally got outside and tackled my disgracefully overgrown, mutant size weed ridden garden (as I type, my muscles are screaming in shock, extreme manual labour aagh!).

I reclaimed my garden from the evil thorny (and really strong!) weeds and unveiled the long lost patio. I’ve promised myself two things – a) it will NEVER get so bad again (honestly it looked like no one had been out there for years, for shame) and b) that by way of an apology to the garden, I will treat it to some lovely new furniture.

The way I see it is, if I spend money on garden furniture then I’ll have to use it, and in order to use it I’ll have to maintain the garden – see there’s some logic in there somewhere.

I’ve already spied some pieces I rather like the look of…

Eos-lounger-cutout
Eos sun lounger from case furniture
Eosrectangulartablearmchairs
Eos rectangle table and armchairs
ikea
Hasselon / Hogsten table and chairs from IKEA
habitat table
Albee small teak garden table – Habitat
teak chair
Albee teak chair – Habitat

As you can probably tell, I’m undecided on the look I’m going for…
